Meet Heather

With over a million views on social media, Heather has struck a vibrant chord with audiences worldwide. Heather's love of painting started long before the viral videos and global features—it began on her very first day of Kindergarten, when she told her parents she wanted to paint a picture for her sister.

Her work began with custom pet portraits, created from client photos and brought to life using exotic, high-end papers sourced from around the world. These collaged portraits aren’t just visual—they’re tactile. Viewers often reach out to touch the richly layered surfaces, textured with paint, fabric, and paper. Each piece is a whimsical, soulful interpretation that captures the essence of a beloved pet—not just its likeness.

In 2018, Heather discovered live wedding painting. She was immediately captivated and has since succeeded as one of the nation's most prominent wedding artists. As guests watch the process unfold, she captures the couple in real time, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a treasured heirloom. As a final touch, she even invites the couple to add one special brushstroke—making the moment truly theirs.

Heather studied art in college and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Tennessee Tech University in 2006. She worked as an art educator for several years and as a full time independent artist since 2012. Heather has been featured by a number of podcasts, magazines, TV, as a keynote speaker, and across the globe.
